Montara Mountain by Barbara VanderWerf
This complete guidebook celebrates Montara Mountain in ways everyone can enjoy. Two parks, San Pedro Valley County Park and McNee Ranch State Park, boast a 175-foot waterfall, masses of wildflowers, a mountain road once driven by rumrunners, and traces of the Ocean Shore Railroad. This is an excellent guide for hikers, bicyclists and horseback riders.

The Unseen Peninsula by Robert Buelteman

"The most spectacular photography book published in years! The Unseen Peninsula will not only change the way you feel about the Bay Area -- a place where great natural beauty is still protected -- but provide an inner glimpse of a land few have been allowed to explore." - Tom Stienstra, San Francisco Examiner
